Bask.

What’s Bask all about then?

Bask opened it’s doors in June 2022, smack bang opposite Stockport train station in Stockport Exchange square.

You can catch live music, comedy, spoken word, DJs, high energy bingo, quiz nights, jazz nights, Stockport County events and loads more.

We have 2 75″ screens which we show live football (a lot of the time with commentary through our PA). It’s a belting atmosphere.

Our terrace is a proper sun trap, with the sun setting directly facing us.

Where can I buy tickets?

Grab yourself a ticket to our events by heading right here.

How do get a gig at Bask?

If you’d like to perform on our stage, drop benji@thisisbask.co.uk an email with a bit of background and a link to some music, and he’ll be right back to you asap.

Do you do private hire?

It’s very rare we hire the bar, but we also can reserve areas of the bar (booths etc) as part of our normal weekend nights. We always have our in-house DJ on a Friday and Saturday night.

There’s no charge for any of this. Let me know if that works for you.

If you’re interested in hiring the stage for a live show, drop benji@thisisbask.co.uk an email with info.

What are your opening hours?

Currently our doors open and close at the following times…

Monday – Thursday 8am – 12am

Friday 8am – 2am

Saturday 9am – 2am

Sunday 10am – late (we have a 2am license, so we’ll always see how busy we are before closing)

Is it true what the MEN said and you don’t allow trainers?

It’s not like the press to spin things is it, ha.

Trainers are always allowed. After 8pm on a Friday and Saturday we’re asking you to can the tracksuits, caps, hoodies and man bags. Crazy I know.

Are you dog friendly?

Dogs are our favourite things on the planet, so straight away we popped some paw prints on the doors, see if you can find them.

Between the owners alone we have 5.

So the answer is YES!

Make sure you tag us in any photos whilst you and the furry ones are in the bar.

Are children allowed in the bar?

Yes they are! At weekends, up until 7pm but for live music events, as long as accompanied by an adult, they’re fine. We’re firm believers that under 18’s shouldn’t miss out on watching their favourite artists.

I’d love to work at Bask, how do I go about it?

We’re always on the lookout for enthusiastic, hard-working, friendly additions to the team.
